My Review

I couldn't tell you what was the difference between the past years I've entered NaNoWriMo and this year. It could have been the fact that I wanted to end this crazy year on a good note. Plus have the next year start on a good note. It's all part of my journey on being healthier and happier. I was determine from day one. Even on the days I didn't type at all or was short of my goals. I was amazed at each 1000 words that ended up adding up to 10000's words. Was it easy? Some days yes. Some days the story flowed non stop. I could smile at the end of the day. Other times it was just pure painful to my eyes, my mind, my wrist. I was just happy to get the words on to the screen. Even if it made me feel like I should never type again, but the next day I was ready to start again. Some days life got in the way of writing. It was ok I had to go with the flow and wait for the opportunity even if it was 11pm at night. I knew I had December to catch up on my sleep (although I lost so much sleep since I've had the twins. I'll have to wait until their 18 to get back my sleep). It was such a great feeling to have my words validated and see the word winner on the next screen. It was worth the pain in my wrist, tiredness in my body and the slight irritation of, "Please can I have at least 30 mins of quiet". Now I can start the New Year editing MY STORY. Plus the fact I prove to myself that I can write a novel even being a wife and a mom to 5. I can go for my dreams. See ya next year NaNoWriMo...maybe:-) .
