My Natural Hair

This week I will post about my 1st experience with Manic Panic hair coloring.  I'm so glad I found out about it from Youtube.  I've been natural for two years now and I love it more each day. My only regret was that I didn't do the "Big Chop" earlier in my transition stage.  I was past a year before I started cutting any relaxed hair. If I had to do it all over again. I would have done it when my natural hair was about 3 inches. But I was worried I would have a nervous breakdown seeing my hair that short. My hair is the strongest and healthiest it's ever been. The first time my hair was relax, I was in early grade school. Now that I'm in my *cough* it's great to have my hair back. Plus, I can style my hair with more options. It's another great way to express my creativity. I also don't take my hair too seriously. I don't let it define me.  If I want to straiten it. I do. If I want to wear a wig.  I do. If I want to wear it in a protective twist. Guess what? I do! I think me letting go the serious and frustrating attitude I had about my hair.  I've open myself up to having more fun with something that is so beautiful and can't be compared to others.  I'm natural  ♫I'm loving it♫!

  1. I'm transitioning now and I really just wanna cut the relaxed part off. Maybe this weekend?

What color did you use? I use their pink and my girls have used the lavender and blue. Anyway can't wait to see the finished product.

    1. I used vampire red and i love it. I was so happy when I cut off the relax part of my hair. It's cliche but it did feel liberating. It still does.
